Programs and Activities

Homework & Academic Support
Monday through Friday from 2:45 to 4:15 PM, students work in a quiet, focused setting to complete homework and receive tutoring in core subjects like math, reading, and science. Staff and volunteers provide support to strengthen academic skills and encourage accountability.

Wrestling
Offered Monday through Friday from 4:15 to 5:15 PM, wrestling sessions cover stance, defense, takedowns, and conditioning. Training builds strength, coordination, and mental toughness, and is open to students ages 6 and up.


Martial Arts
Monday through Friday from 5:15 to 6:15 PM, martial arts instruction includes striking, grappling, and self-defense training. Students develop confidence, focus, and respect while learning techniques that promote discipline and personal safety. This program is open to students ages 6 and up.

Boxing
From 6:15 to 8:15 PM Monday through Friday, licensed instructors teach stance, guard, footwork, bag work, mitt drills, and conditioning. Students who are preparing for amateur competition receive official amateur boxing books required for competition. Boxing is open to students ages 12 and up.

Youth Podcast / Video Games
Saturdays from 1:00 to 7:00 PM, students participate in producing a youth-led podcast. They learn to plan topics, record episodes, and practice public speaking. Supervised gaming sessions offer a structured and social environment that encourages teamwork and creativity.

Haircuts by Licensed Barbers
Sundays during the school year from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, and from 3:00 to 5:30 PM in the summer, licensed barbers provide free professional haircuts to students. This service helps build self-confidence, teaches personal grooming, and creates opportunities for mentorship.

Adult Physical Training for Rehabilitation
Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, adults in recovery take part in structured boxing-based fitness training. The sessions provide discipline, stress relief, and a healthy routine to support recovery and personal growth.

Eligibility
The program is open to students ages 6 and up for wrestling and martial arts, and ages 12 and up for boxing. Participants must maintain satisfactory academic performance to stay enrolled. Students are expected to attend regularly, put forth their best effort in both academics and athletics, and show respect toward coaches, peers, and program rules at all times.
